St Matthew Academy is a Catholic all-through school, offering places to children and young people aged 4 to 16. We are sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Southwark.  We always welcome visits from prospective parents at one of our open events or please contact the Academy reception (020 8853 6250) to arrange a tour of the Academy.

The Academy has an agreed admission number of 60 pupils in reception and 120 pupils in year 7. Pupils in year 6 have the automatic right to transfer to year 7. The Academy will then admit additional pupils up to a maximum of 180 places available in year 7.

Applications for Reception and Year 7 should be made through the local authority of the applicant, using the appropriate coordinated admissions form. Please note all applicants must complete a supplementary application form for the appropriate primary or secondary phase. The form can be downloaded below along with full details of our Admissions Policy.

The admissions policy for the academic year 2020/21 was determined at a meeting of the governing body on 11 January 2019.

Any objection to St Matthew Academy’s determined admissions policy for the academic year 2020/21 should be lodged with:

The Office of the Schools Adjudicator

no later than Wednesday 15 May 2019
