St Matthew Academy Primary Celebrates Outstanding Key Stage 2 SATs Results

St Matthew Academy is celebrating another year of outstanding Key Stage 2 SATs results, with Year 6 pupils achieving performances that place the academy significantly above the national average across every core subject. The latest assessment data highlights exceptional achievement in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, with a particularly impressive rise in the number of pupils reaching the higher Greater Depth standard, both within individual subjects and across the combined measure. These results reflect the ambition, hard work and high expectations that define the academy, and they showcase the remarkable progress and potential of its pupils.

Academic highlights:

Above National Benchmarks: Pupils performed exceptionally well across all assessed areas, achieving outcomes that surpassed national averages by a considerable margin.

Rise in Greater Depth: A notable increase was seen in the number of pupils reaching the Greater Depth standard in Reading, Writing and Mathematics, reflecting strengthened mastery and high-level understanding.

Combined Greater Depth Success: More pupils than ever before achieved Greater Depth across the combined Reading, Writing and Mathematics measure, marking a significant step forward compared with previous cohorts.
