Behind every grade and celebration, is an individual story of hard work, determination and ambition. We caught up with some of our GCSE students to find out about their achievements, and plans for the future.

Jada celebrates her fantastic grades of 988876655 and looks forward to her next chapter at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar to study Classic Civilisation, Business Studies and English Literature. Jada has ambitions to embark on a Project Management degree apprenticeship with a prestigious organisation such as KPMG or Tokio Marine Holdings, praising the unique format of a degree apprenticeship, and excited about the prospect of getting on-the-job experience.

On receiving his results, he said: “the staff at SMA have provided me with the encouragement and support needed to achieve my potential and thanks to them, I am celebrating not only my results but getting into the sixth form I wanted to. It truly is an inspiring place to grow and learn, the teachers truly take the time to get to know you as an individual, understanding your learning styles and personalising teaching to help you learn best”. Matthew looks forward to studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry at CTK Aquinas Sixth Form and pursuing his dream of becoming a qualified engineer.

Amparo has made phenomenal progress over her time at SMA and with 88888777766 under her belt, the world is her oyster. She has big plans to study Biology, Chemistry and Maths at St Thomas the Apostle College and aspires to enter the medical field post university.

Celebrating 998887775, Dihain is looking forward to a successful future, having accepted his place at Dartford Grammar School Sixth Form to study Computer Science, Economics and Maths. He describes St Matthew Academy as ‘welcoming, safe and loving’, and praises his teachers for going above and beyond in their support and recognising his potential.
“I am so proud of everything that I have achieved. The additional support from my teachers and their ongoing support and motivation has enabled me to gain higher grades than what I achieved in my mocks, a testament to their encouragement and my own hard work. SMA really does have a family feel, everyone wants the best for one another and our teachers want us to become the best version of themselves. The lessons learnt and foundations built here I will take with me to Sixth Form, and I hope to study Musical Engineering at university in the years to come”.

Having secured 8888877777 in his GCSE examinations, Shaqwan looks forward to embarking on his next chapter at the prestigious St Dunstan’s College to study Maths, Economics, English Literature and History and has his sights set on university and training as a lawyer.

With an incredible portfolio of results including 998888888876, St Matthew Primary Academy alumni Shaely looks forward to attending St Thomas the Apostle College in September to study Business, Biology and Maths. She describes the academy as ‘inspiring’, praising her teacher’s passion for their subjects, and in turn, making her fall in love with her subjects too.
