I joined SMA in September 2020 as a HLTA. I have been extremely fortunate to have worked throughout the primary phase, supporting pupils in their learning by working with individuals, small groups and whole class.

Towards the end of my first academic year, I was given the opportunity to manage breakfast club in the primary phase. Here, we provide a nutritious breakfast as well as a range of activities for pupils. To encourage an inclusive and diverse environment, we recently introduced ‘Breakfast From Around the World.’ This gives the pupils the opportunity to experience breakfast from different cultures, as well as learning about the countries and their traditions.
