'GET READY TO GET YOUR KIT ON’ SPORTS RELIEF 2020

On Wednesday 11th March we raised money for Sport Relief. We saw lots of fantastic sporting activities throughout the day, including all primary students and staff wearing their PE kit to school. Parents and students got involved in skipping and dancing on the forecourt before school. Key stage 1 took part in wake up workout with Jump Start Jonny & Ms Toprak before their morning classes. At break time, students could participate in a skip- a- thon on how much jumps they can do in 1 minute.

Lunchtime saw lots of competitions with ‘Can you beat the Teacher at Table Tennis?’ in the secondary phase and basketball/ football competitions in the primary phase. In the afternoon year 8 boys led warms up and a football competitions to year 5 & 6 students as part of sport education lesson.

Mandela won the year 7/8 house football competition in the afternoon whilst netball club was ran by our Netball coach from Raiders.

Thank you to everyone who participated and brought lots of energy to the day! We managed to raise £133.03; this will go to Sports Relief to help vulnerable people, across the UK and the world, to live happier and safer lives.
