Parent Ambassadors

At St Matthew Academy, we pride ourselves on our strong partnership with our families as we believe a positive home-school relationship is vital to the success of a child’s education. Our parent ambassadors play an important role in our academy, promoting good news in our local community, being a voice for other parents and families, organising events and attending our open events to discuss St Matthew Academy with new students and their families.

“My daughter joined St Matthew Academy after attending St Joseph’s School, and at first was apprehensive about starting secondary school. It is a joy to hear how the staff have helped her to settle in, support her and realise her dreams of studying Law at university. St Matthew Academy has helped my daughter recognise her potential and I want to give back by helping the community as best I can. The academy excels at home communication and support with homework, so I take pride in being an ambassador for the academy”. Van Nguyen

“St Matthew Academy has taught my child to apply herself with her studies; challenged her appropriately and helped her to grow, not only academically but as a person as well. Her confidence has developed as a result of the school support system, and as a result, I chose to become a parent ambassador. I want to share with other parents that may be nervous that St Matthew Academy goes above and beyond in ensuring every child’s need is catered to, and let the local community know all the great things that go on in the academy”.
