Congratulations to the St Matthew Academy Street Dance Crew who took part and won the 'Mixed Crew Battle' at the '2018 Step Into Battle' competition at Stratford Circus.

There were three categories and our students entered two of them: 

• 1V1 Street Dance Battle - D'jon McTernan got through to the semi-finals and received an award for the best dance movement of the day!
• Mixed Crew Battle - Winners!

It was a 'nail biting' competition but our team of 6 dancers (Years 7 - 11) had the edge on the other groups and beat Uxbridge Sixth Form College in the final. The pupils wowed the audience with their impressive high energy, dynamic performances. All of our dancers were impeccably well behaved and danced with passion and confidence.
