Outdoor education
We have developed a broad range of opportunities for outdoor education for students of all ages. Our urban children are limited in their experience of life outside city streets and traffic.
Through the range of activities we offer, children can experience the countryside and the physical and personal challenges offered by watersports, mountain climbing, Duke of Edinburgh award, the Army Cadet military band and Combined Cadet Force troop run by St Dunstan's independent school. We are in the process of establishing a sea cadet contingent.
We have our own Scout troop, the 1st Lewisham North, and Beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups are run by volunteer members of staff.
Primary students can also take advantage of our Forest School, and the kitchen garden on the primary roof.
New opportunities come up all the time, including sailing, outward bound residential trips and other physical, mental and emotional challenges.
