Enterprise
All-through Enterprising Academy
Our Enterprise specialism aims to show our students that entrepreneurship, business acumen and success go hand in hand with philanthropy, community involvement and with the gospel values which the school ethos emphasises.
Our philosophy is that everyone can be and should aspire to be an ‘enterprising citizen’ and we endeavour to support, inspire and reward our students to pursue that aim.
The Academy has won a multitude of enterprise awards since our opening in September 2007 and many of the skills and talents within the student body have already been allowed to shine. We are now recognised as a ‘Centre of Excellence and Inspiration’ in the United Kingdom and beyond.
The Academy has many young entrepreneurs working with businesses linked to the student community. Some of our students have already been signed to big organisations before the age of 16.
As a Christian Academy we are not just involved with developing business acumen and entrepreneurship; we strongly support and encourage the philosophy of social enterprise with a passion for local community engagement as well as supporting wider international activities.
