Student care
The emotional and physical wellbeing of our students is a high priority for us at St Matthew. We want all our students to feel safe, respected and looked after.
The Academy aims to provide a happy, caring and secure Christian environment where all students and staff relate positively to foster respect and self-esteem in an atmosphere of good manners and interactive learning.
From the time students arrive at St Matthew Academy we encourage and guide them to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, others and their environment.
Every child has a form teacher that they see on a daily basis. Each form is part of a house supported by a dedicated House team, led by the school's assistant principal for student services, which ensures every child is well-supported.
In this section you can find out about our House system and our school matron.
