SMA becomes Young Enterprise Centre of Excellence
St Matthew Academy has been selected as a national Centre of Excellence by the Young Enterprise organisaton. Head of Enterprise Martin Nirsimloo says, ''This award is only given to a few schools which show outstanding commitment to the promotion of enterprise and entrepreneurship education for their young people and engage in a wide variety of activities. SMA is the only all-through Enterprise school in the UK and we were awarded the status by Young Enterprise because we give students from Year 2 upwards the opportunity to engage in Young Enterprise activities.'
